Welcome to the mind of a future syntactician

Hi, I am Shiyang Fu, a PhD candidate in the department of language and linguistic science at the University of York.  I am specialised in Formal Syntax and Semantics, with a particular interest in Coordinate Structure and Across-The-Board movement.  

I cannot resist delicious foods and personally, I consider myself a "good cooker" (google recipes save my ass). I am also a game-lover who is fond of JRPGs, especially The Tale of Heros and Persona (I like the journey each protagonist has been through, just like my academic life in the real world). Travelling is another one of my hobbies, though I don't really have time to do so (This is how  PhD works, right mate?).

 Here is my dream: I want to be a syntactician since I meet ''Syntax'' and it has never changed.  Fortunately, I can see when the dream comes true :)
