Remote Data Sessions

#EMCAremote

(Still in beta)

Dear EM/CAers,

As part of a project to start widening collaboration between PGR researchers in the network, we have come up with the idea of setting up a remote data session every month.

This is an opportunity for EM/CA researchers (with a preference for PGR students) to present data or collaborate with other researchers with insights on their data, independently from the sessions that each University or research centre already holds.

We will be making use of an online meeting platform called BigMarker, and due to technical restrictions, each session will hold 15 “participants”. A “participant” can be an individual with their own mic and/or camera, or a group of individuals in the same location, participating with one camera.

Participants should sign up using a form (visit the "Sign up" page) and will be informed whether they got a place, or are part of a waiting list, within 48 hs of submitting the form.

Researchers interested in offering data to lead a session should register by filling in the form in the "Offer data" page.

For the time being, this project is on a trial period.

Looking forward to seeing you all in the websphere!
