The Northern Quantum Meeting VIII (NQM8 for short) will be the eighth instalment of a series of biannual meetings attended by members of the universities in the north of England and in the N8 Research Partnership.
The NQM8 will be hosted by the University of York and with the support of the York Centre for Quantum Technology (YCQT).
The previous meeting (NQM7) was held in Manchester.
The aim of the Northern Quantum Meetings is to bring together researchers working on a range of topics within Quantum Information Science and Technologies (QIST), to provide PhD students and Early Career Researchers with a platform for networking and showcasing their work. Some of the meetings have also previously included keynote speakers.
The NQM8 will take place on Monday 12th June 2023, from 10 am to 5pm, at the National STEM Learning Centre in York, placed between the university east and west campuses (directions here).
