The non-medical prescribing programme curriculum is designed to enable the student to demonstrate understanding and competence in the domains of “The Consultation” and “Prescribing Governance” as identified in the RPS (2021) Competency Framework for all Prescribers. The indicative content includes consultation models and skills, applied pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, medicines optimisation, team working and legal and ethical aspects of non-medical prescribing.
