Sometimes, if you feel a bit low, inspiration doesn’t come knocking, you have to go hunt it down. Make a firm decision that you will notice something interesting or something you’ve never noticed before on your walk.
It's like a super-power!
You will need to really pay attention to EVERYTHING, but you will be surprised at what you discover.
On my walk (below) I found...
some tyre tracks in a field - was it a plane taking off or landing perhaps? Maybe it's a crop circle by an alien who is bad at drawing?
some interesting lichen growing on a telephone connection box - how does it grow? Does it grow on conversations?
a pretty cloud - aren't they all?
a tea delivery van with a horse on it - which used to deliver tea, but hasn't for years.
half a playing card - is it worth 5?
a brave little plant growing out of a gas grate in the pavement. Amazing!
See what you find when you go looking.
When you find something, either take a picture, or write a note in a notebook, or make a doodle to be sure you don’t forget the special thing you found.
