Welcome to the HATSS Lab at the Department of Psychology, University of York headed by Dr Clara Humpston, Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Mental Health.
We are passionate about research into the nature of schizophrenia-spectrum psychoses and related mental health conditions and we come from a highly interdisciplinary standpoint. The methods we use span from cognitive neuroscience to psychopharmacology to phenomenological psychopathology as we strongly believe that only when we use combined methods that we will be able to construct a fuller picture of what the experience of schizophrenia is and means to the individuals living with the condition.
