This study explores how students involved in arts-related activities in University Societies perceive the impact of this involvement on their mental wellbeing. Participants will be asked for some basic demographic information, then details on the arts-related activities students are involved in through the University of York Student Union societies. It will ask a series of open-ended questions examining students’ experiences in the societies, of their arts engagement in those societies, and how they interpret its influence on multiple facets of wellbeing.
Participants will be asked to complete some questions on the mind-body connection and wellbeing, along with some demographic questions. If you are a dancer, you will also be asked a couple of questions about your dance activities. I am looking for both dancers and non-dancers, so participants can be studying any subject. The survey is completely anonymous and takes less than 5 minutes to complete. Thank you!
As part of our project, we are investigating the experiences of students in UK universities, specifically exploring the gender differences in educational wellbeing.
As part of your participation in this study, you will be asked to complete a 20-30-minute online survey. The survey includes questions regarding your self-perceptions, gendered experiences, social media use, social and academic life, as well as questions about your emotions and mental health and well-being. You must be a current university student to complete the questionnaire.
