Working on climate resilience and adaptation or related directions? If yes, join us for our CHI'26 workshop, in which we will provide a platform to share, demonstrate, and discuss different participatory and community-centered design approaches, concepts of and developed interactive technologies, as well as encountered challenges and opportunities. In our workshop, we will combine presentations and interactive sessions that will allow us to build a network around the topic.
We welcome a variety of submission types:
A two-page workshop submission paper using the ACM SIGCHI double-column format, detailing some previous or future work, a position, provocation, or other relevant issue
An informal one- or two- paragraph piece detailing some previous or future work, a position, provocation, or other relevant issue

Submissions should not be anonymised. The deadline for submissions is February 15th, 2026, AoE. Submissions will be collected via e-mail (lihirsch@ucsc.edu).
Additionally, participants are also encouraged to ask communities or partners they have worked with to submit a short video testimonial of their experiences working on research projects or other activities using this form
