Teaching at the University of York
I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I regularly lead and teach on the following modules at the University of York:
Dialect Grammar of British English (Final-year undergraduate and MSc)
English Past & Present (1st year undergraduate)
I have also previously led and taught on other undergraduate and postgraduate modules in sociolinguistics and language variation and change.
Postgraduate supervision
I am interested in supervising students in sociolinguistics and language variation and change, particularly projects focusing on grammatical or discourse-pragmatic variation.
