Data Analysis & Reporting
Spectral Processing
In order to obtain the most information out of spectroscopy and chromatography data which has been collected, it is nescessary to learn to reprocess the data. There are many software packages available to carry out reprocessing of data, and it is the skills of reprocessing and presenting data which are important, not the specific software that is used. The same principles can be applied to data processing, irrespective of the software used.
Within teaching labs, we predomionanly make use of ACD/Spectrus, and the training guides are written around this software. However, you are welcome to use other programmes you might be familiar with, providing the data is presented in the desired manner. The software is installed on all the PCs within teaching labs, as well as all IT services PC classrooms.
How-To Guide
Accessing on Campus
