Informing your employer

As outlined in the privacy notice provided at point of application, the University will provide limited academic progress reports throughout your studies to your nominated manager or non-medical prescribing lead, e.g. information relating to your attendance (or non-attendance), non-submission of assessments as well as confirmation of module or programme completion, failure or withdrawal. These disclosures will be made to support you in your studies and professional work and to ensure your employer is given the opportunity to facilitate your learning and to support development of your clinical knowledge and skills.

For students on the apprenticeship route information will be shared with your employer as part of the tripartite reviews. Employers may request management information reports from the Apprenticeship Unit and information about your progress may be shared as part of the reporting process in line with the commitment statement.
