We are always looking for highly self-motivated graduate students who want to join an interdisciplinary and collaborative research team. Potential research topics include:

• Design Optimization under Uncertainty

• Reliability Assessment and Risk Management for Engineering System

• Deep Learning-based Engineering Design (Physics-Informed Neural Network, Autoencoder, CNN, GAN, RNN)

• Prognostics and Health Management (PHM) for Engineering System

• Evaluation of Material Property for Products with Metal Additive Manufacturing

Encouraged Fields: computer science, data analytics, data mining, natural language, smart material, and mechanical engineering

Encouraged Skills: MATLAB, Python, TensorFlow, ABAQUS, Hyperworks, LS-OPT, and so on
