Saturday 20th June
10am - 5.30pm
10am - 5.30pm
Awaken your body through mindful movement and a flowing yoga practice that balances energy with stillness. Expect a nourishing blend of dynamic movement, longer held poses, breathwork, mantra and meditation, finishing with deep relaxation to help you feel settled, spacious, and at ease.
Lunch will be served at the Hilltop Bistro, known for its seasonal, wholesome menu crafted with fresh, locally inspired ingredients — nourishing both body and soul.
Sink into warm, cedar-lined hot tubs and let the heat ease tension, soften muscles, and deepen your breath. Move between sauna, hot and cool experiences at your own pace — as warmth, steam and fresh air calm the nervous system and encourage circulation. Your bathing experience also includes a refreshing drink to sip as you rest and soak, surrounded by nature.
Take time to explore PAUS’s re-wilded meadows along the Barefoot Sensory Trail — a gentle walk over varied natural textures that supports grounding, balance, and sensory awareness. Walking barefoot helps you slow down, reconnect with your body, and feel more present in the moment.
Finalise your day with a deeply restorative yoga session followed by a mini sound bath, designed to help you fully unwind and let go. Gentle, supported postures invite the body to soften, while calming sounds and vibrations guide the mind into stillness. This closing practice offers space to slow right down, settle your nervous system, and rest deeply — allowing you to leave feeling grounded, nourished, and quietly restored.

PAUS is a nature-led wellbeing space set in re-wilded countryside, offering outdoor bathing, barefoot sensory walks, and open skies — a calm, spacious setting designed for slowing down and restoring balance.
PAUS is located in the countryside near Bourn, Cambridgeshire, surrounded by open land and re-wilded meadows. On-site parking is available for guests, with clear signage on arrival. I recommend allowing a little extra time for your journey, as the final stretch is along quiet rural roads — giving you space to arrive unhurried and ease into the day.
Your retreat host and yoga teacher, Cris, has many years’ experience teaching Hatha Vinyasa yoga, alongside yin and more restorative practices. Her teaching is shaped by a genuine love of movement — from yoga and breathwork to strength training — and a deep respect for yoga’s healing power and philosophy. Cris also leads regular mantra sessions (kirtans), and teaches at venues including David Lloyd Ipswich and Martlesham Leisure Centre.
Before dedicating herself fully to yoga and wellbeing, Cris spent over a decade working in fast-paced corporate environments within multinational companies — experience that deeply informs her understanding of stress, balance, and the need for genuine rest. A mum of two lively boys, she brings warmth and authenticity to the retreats she holds.
