👋 Hi Families!

I’m Ms. Blake, and I’m so excited to welcome you to our classroom family 🥳! I’ve been working in education since 2004, and I’ve loved every moment of helping young learners grow, explore, and shine 🌟.

Before joining the classroom full-time, I was part of the YMCA family starting in 2018, first as a volunteer, then as enrichment staff, later a Program Director, and finally as a Senior Program Director for the Team Up program. Now, I’m thrilled to be back where the magic 🪄really happens, in the classroom with your amazing first graders!

🌟 A Few Fun Facts About Me

• I have one awesome son, and he’s a high school senior this year,  time flies 🥲!

• I obtained my Associates of Arts Degree from the Florida State College at Jacksonville and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education

• I love collecting fun and funky socks 🧦, seriously, it's a thing.

• I’m a huge fan of horror movies 🍿!

• My Favorite Restaurant is Longhorn, and my favorite store is Wally-World 🤪

• My favorite subject is ELA, and I have a big heart 🫶 for helping kids fall in love with reading and writing.
