Unit 2 week 1 Vocabulary Words:
Week 1: Actions - Things that a person or group does.
Constructive - To be helpful or to try to improve something
Traditional Tale - Story that has been told over and over a again for many years.
Consequences - Something that happens as a result of particular action
Decisions - Choices that you make about something after thinking about it.
Week 2:
Appetizing - Something that is appetizing looks or smells good.
Blurted - Something that is said quickly and without thinking.
Fonder - When someone is fonder of something, that means they like it more than something else.
Giddily - To do something giddily means to do it with great happiness.
Week 3:
Resist - To stop yourself from doing something that you want to do.
Flustered - To be upset or nervous
Nuisance - When something causes a small amount of trouble.
Beamed - Light that has been sent through the air.
This week in social studies we will continue to learn about the 50 states alongside "life in the past" and how school and life used to be. We'll explore similarities and differences between the two and we'll explore how this relates to our personal lives.
This week we are working with regrouping/decomposing to help us solve multi-digit additon and subtraction.
This week we are learning about the sun.
