It’s the season of giving ❤️
When you give to the Y, you help empower, inspire, and strengthen our communities. Every contribution—no matter the amount—makes a meaningful difference. You can give in the way that is most meaningful and convenient for you, whether through a one-time gift or a biweekly payroll deduction. You may also designate your gift to a specific program or simply direct it to the area of greatest need.
While we would love for every employee to participate, we understand that giving may not be possible for everyone right now, and that's okay. Our goal is to ensure that every staff member has the opportunity to give in a way that feels right for them.
Last year, our incredible staff champions reached 94% of employees across our five-county service area, and 478 staff members contributed, pledging more than $146,000 that helped people of all ages access transformational YMCA programs and services this year.
This year, we’re striving to reach 100% of staff, inviting each of us to be part of expanding access and opportunity across Central Ohio.
Staff Giving sets the tone for our culture of philanthropy throughout the year.
It reflects an environment where every YMCA leader, from frontline staff to executives, values fundraising and builds meaningful relationships with our donor community.
Each of us plays a part. Guided by our core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility, every staff member helps champion the YMCA’s mission: serving the whole community through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body.
By making a gift of any size, you’ll be given a badge to affix to your name tag to signify your commitment to 2025's Annual Campaign.
Now, as we kick off the 2026 Annual Campaign, let’s join together in leading the way. This is our chance to help Central Ohioans overcome their biggest challenges. In 2024, we provided almost $1.3 million in financial assistance to...

Employee-Elect Payroll Deduction (EEPD) is a way to donate a set dollar amount of every paycheck you receive throughout the year. In 2026, there will be 27 total pay periods eligible to deduct from. When you make your pledge, you are committing to a dollar amount per pay, which will then be multiplied by 27 to determine your total gift amount.
