We have an exciting opportunity for new hires who will work primarily in the Phoenix, AZ location.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities

Assembly Technician is responsible for assisting with installing, maintaining, and repairing automation systems within semiconductor fabrication facilities. 

This role will take direction from and assist senior colleagues and vendor representatives in the setup and maintenance of Automated Material Handling Systems (AMHS) and Stackers used to transfer and store semiconductor material through various stages of product fabrication. 

The work for this role will take place in a clean room environment while wearing the appropriate attire such as suit, headwear, footwear, and gloves. Relevant OSHA and host facility environmental and safety standards also will apply. 

Occasional domestic travel is required for training or to support equipment installation and repair in remote facilities, up to 25%.   

Minimum Requirements

• A valid drivers license. 

• A high school diploma or GED. 

• Ability to climb step ladders and regularly move material up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds. 

Preferred Qualifications

• A 2-year degree, trade, or military certification in a related field or equivalent work experience in the semiconductor industry is a big plus. 

• Experience in a relevant field with proven ability to meet company safety, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction standards a plus. 

• Basic knowledge of electrical circuits including the ability to use a digital multimeter for diagnostics a plus. 

• Basic computer literacy including familiarity with common Microsoft Office applications.

• Good written and verbal English language skills including the ability to engage in team discussions and document project status in written reports.  

• Chinese or Japanese language skills a big plus.

Pay and benefits

This is a hourly, non-exempt position. The pay range is $20 - $28 hourly,  based on qualifications. 

80 hours of paid time off annually. 

Paid holidays.

The Interpreter role is a full time, hourly paid position responsible for translating spoken and written communications between Mandarin Chinese and English languages. 

 The Interpreter is imbedded with our team of technicians as they work in a semiconductor factory environment. The Interpreter will bridge language gaps across a team of multi-lingual, international partners and technical experts. This role also supports general business translation and administrative functions as needed. 

The work for this role will take place in a clean room environment while wearing the appropriate attire such as suit, headwear, footwear, and gloves. Relevant OSHA and host facility environmental and safety standards also will apply. 

Occasional domestic travel is required for training or to support projects at remote facilities, up to 25%.

• Strong computer skills with proficiency using standard MS Office applications. 

• Strong interpersonal skills including ability to communicate effectively with assembly workers, company leadership, and foreign affiliates. 

• Ability to occasionally travel within the greater Phoenix, AZ metro area for meetings and other company functions. 

• Must pass a criminal background and 10-panel drug screening.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities

As our Operations Manager based in Phoenix, AZ, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Yi Sin US clean factory site activities in this region. 

Our technical teams help install, adjust, and maintain automated material handling systems or AMHS in semiconductor fabs.  Much of your time in this role will be spent inside a clean room or surrounding construction area. Main responsibilities include training direct reports while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across the business unit. 

Additional responsibilities include meeting with vendor partners, resourcing planning, procurement, and recruiting. 

Occasional travel throughout the Western US is required for this role, and may include stays of several weeks in other locations based on the project needs of customers. 

Qualifications

• A valid drivers license. 

• A Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or other related engineering discipline and two (2) plus years experience working on semiconductor AMHS systems, or an Associates degree, military, or trade certification and five (5) plus years experience. 

• Extensive knowledge of automated material handling systems or AMHS for semiconductor factories. 

• Bi-lingual English and Mandarin Chinese with the ability to read and write typed communications in both languages is a requirement.   

• Bi-lingual English and Japanese a big plus. 

• Strong background maintaining OSHA compliance with proven record of elevating workplace safety culture. 

• Proficient in common computer applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Google Workspace and Quickbooks knowledge a plus. 

• Strong interpersonal skills including ability to communicate effectively with assembly workers, company leadership, and foreign affiliates. The ability to present effectively within project team and to external stakeholders. 

• Ability to travel throughout the US to meet with vendor partners or support remote projects for several weeks at a time. 

• Occasional support of shift working including third shift will be necessary. 

• Ability to occasionally travel within the greater Phoenix, AZ metro area for meetings and other company functions. 

• Must pass a criminal background and 10-panel drug screening. 

Pay and benefits

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 annually,  based on qualifications. 

Benefits include paid time off & holidays, 401k, and health insurance.
