Yorktown ISD welcomes and encourages parent and family involvement in school and district activities. We strive to involve parents and families in all aspects of the various local, state, and federal programs offered in BISD schools. Our children benefit when school, home, and community work together to promote high achievement.

As part of Title III Initiatives, the TEA Emergent Bilingual Support Division is thrilled to assist LEAs in planning events which provide valuable information to attendees from presenters at the top of their fields across the state of Texas.
Join us by hosting watch parties for your parents, families, and community while we provide the experts and interpreters so that all attendees can learn and listen in their native languages.
These events will be conducted virtually over the Zoom platform and will be presented in English. Interpreters can be requested through the registration process. Please note only 8 languages other than English will be provided based on the registration requests.
