Welcome to my new website! It's a work in progress so please be patient. My goal is to keep parents and/or guardians informed as to what's happening and what students are learning while at school. If your child is anything like mine, you probably get the same, generic response to all your questions! 😉😂 Plus, it's also a great resource for students that want to review notes for upcoming assessments in case they don't have their notebooks. Many of you may remember me from 3rd grade and I'm so excited to have this opportunity to be with you again! For those that are new to me, I can't wait to get to know you!
This will be my 12th year of teaching but my 7th here at Yorktown. I've always taught 3rd grade so this will be a new experience for me. I've found that science is my passion and I can't wait to share it with my students.
Some of my favorite things to do when I’m not working are reading, playing games, watching movies, getting pedicures, traveling, hiking or biking along trails, going to the beach, and relaxing in a hammock or on a float in calm waters.
You can check on your child's grades for each class, absences, tardies, and more! Please do NOT wait until progress reports/report cards come out or parent/teacher conferences.
