Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Online Tournament

Requirements:

In order to compete in the online tournament, you must have a ™Nintendo Switch, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a Nintendo Online account.

• Who is putting this tournament together: Answer: Mr. Rodarte, Innovative Technology Support Teacher from Mission Valley Elementary in Ysleta I.S.D. and Mr. Tapia, Instructional Technology Coordinator from Clint. I.S.D.
• Who can participate? Answer: This tournament is open to Ysleta I.S.D. and Clint. I.S.D. students, parents, faculty and staff!
• I have a connection error, what can I do? Answer: ™Nintendo is the online host for the sessions. Your internet speeds will dictate your connectivity. If experiencing issues, you might want to allow maximum bandwith to the ™Nintendo Switch by disconnecting all other devices on your wifi. If the error still does not go away, unfortunately, it might be your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
• Will the tournament be live streamed? Answer: No
• What tracks will be played? Answer: This depends on the tracks chosen by the players. After selecting you track, the system will randomize between the selected tracks.
• Can I live stream my game play so that others can see me game? Citing copyright rules first, then you can make that decision on your own.
• What do I need in order to join the tournament? Answer: You must own a ™Nintendo Switch, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and have an active Nintendo Online account.
• Can I join all three of the tournaments? Answer: Yes
• If I win one of the tournaments, can I still participate in the others? Answer: Yes
