The Yinghua school mascot, the Dragon, is a revered, ancient Chinese symbol of honor, luck and success. They are powerful yet protecting… a fitting symbol for Yinghua athletes.

Athletic Program Mission Statement: To prepare our student-athletes to be respectful, successful and happy competitors by providing a safe and supportive sports experience within a fun, challenging, well-rounded and well-organized athletic program. Emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship, integrity and fair play. ALL TEAMS ARE CO-ED.
TRAVEL TEAMS (co-ed)
Our travel teams are for students in grades 5-8. These teams will play against other schools in a league called LIST. Practice is held here at Yinghua Academy. A typical week is two practices and one game. Games are either at Yinghua or other schools. Grades 5-6 play games on Wednesdays and Grades 7-8 on Fridays.
IN-HOUSE LEAGUE (co-ed)
Our in-house league is typically for students in grades 1-8. In-house means that Yinghua students will play against each other. There are eight weekday sessions and no traveling to nor playing against other schools.
SPORTS LEADER: Middle School Students
This is an opportunity for middle school students to volunteer to work with our younger athletes (Grade 1-4) or help with the set up of home games. It is a win-win-win. The Sport Leader learns leadership, responsibility and positive role modeling. The coach gets an extra set of hands to help run drills and manage equipment. The young athlete gets to make connections with our middle school students. The athletic director works with the sports leader to prepare them for the expectations of helping.
