Young Democrats of Louisiana

The Young Democrats of Louisiana (YDL) is building a statewide coalition of hundreds of members, united in our mission to create lasting change and champion progressiveness in Louisiana. As a youth-led organization, YDL empowers young people to engage in the electoral process, advocate for the progressive issues that matter most, and take an active role in shaping our state’s future.

Through grassroots efforts, voter engagement campaigns, and leadership training, we aim to equip the next generation of leaders with the tools they need to make a real impact. Our members, all under the age of 40, are committed to electing Democrats, promoting inclusive policies, and amplifying the voices of young Louisianans across the state. Together, we are building a movement for a brighter, more progressive Louisiana.
