Yuba City Teachers Association

The Yuba City Teachers Association is the local affiliate of  the California Teachers Association (CTA). Our more than 700 members are local Yuba City Schools teachers, counselors, social workers, nurses, school psychologists, and speech and language pathologists. We work with Yuba City students in grades Preschool -12 at all Yuba City Unified School District schools.

We are the exclusive representative of the YCTA certificated bargaining unit. In 2023, YCTA was able to secure an 11.5% pay raise for all unit members, protected our rights to fair discipline, and added additional preparation time for teachers in grades 1-5. These are just a few of the recent accomplishments that come from our union's strength as a team.
