The ComedySportz High School League® is the largest, most successful improv training program for high school students in the country. The High School League® empowers students to create their own theatre and nourishes their communication skills through improvisational theatre workshops and performances.

ComedySportz is a team sport with two teams “competing” for audience laughs. The stage looks like a sports arena (Astroturf and everything!) and students will have team uniforms. All matches have a referee and every team has a professional coach.

Academic requirement: “Actletes” must maintain a 2.0 GPA and have less than one F to be involved with ComedySportz.
Stay clean! No drugs, alcohol or other illegal substances will be tolerated. Whether you get caught on or off campus there will be consequences for participating in any illegal activity.
You must be dedicated to your team. You will be a part of a year-long commitment. You must be willing to come to practice, as well as all mandatory games/conventions/workshops. 3 unexcused absences will result in your removal from the team.
The most important of all, be funny and have fun, because we all win the competition when we laugh!
