Welcome to YCA!

I am Mr. Taylor, the supervising teacher for all Edgenuity Science classes. I have been with the program for 3 years and love what we do here at YCA! I love independent learning and chose to do most of my undergraduate and graduate education online. Being able to flexibly work from home or when traveling is why I choose to be an Independent Learner!

I majored in Biology, received my teaching credentialed in Science, and have a Masters Degree in Curriculum Instruction and Design. I have taught for the last 8 years and really enjoy sharing my learning experiences with my students and fellow teachers. For the last 3 years, I have had the honor of working with YCA, the independent study program at YHS. I love getting students to succeed and will do everything I can to make sure they do!
