Welcome to YCA, my name Mr Carney. I've spent the last 18 years teaching US History, Economics and Government at Yucaipa High School. During my time at YHS I've also served as the Cross Country and Track. At the beginning of the school year (2021), I started working at Yucaipa ConnectED Academy. I absolutely love the many educational opportunities that YCA offers its students. I am a YHS alum, who loves living and working in Yucaipa. I've been married for 26 years to my high school sweetheart and we have one son, that is currently a junior at the University of Redlands. When I'm not teaching or coaching I enjoy hanging out in the mountains (fishing, hiking) and when I'm at home I love gaming on my PC.
