Important Updates for the 2025/2026 School Year
Community Service Hours
In order to earn your OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma), you must complete 40 hours of community service. Beginning the 2023/2024 school year, students MAY NO longer use the following toward their OSSD requirement:
10 hours of paid employment
Hours accumulated in an instructional period on a school day
Hours accumulated through household chores or recreational activities
