Login to a computer, send your print job, and then go to the library photocopier to release it. Until you release them, print jobs are held in a central queue and can be released from library photocopier (unless you select the colour queue - see below).
Printing Costs:
$.10 per page for print jobs (STAU-XEROX-LIB)
$1.00 per page for colour printing (STAU-LIB-PRC)
Print from any library computer or your own device to one of our networked printers.
You are only charged for print jobs you release, and jobs not released are deleted after several hours.
CLOUD PRINTING IN NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME
Printing to the Library Xerox Photocopier
Google Cloud Printing is now enabled for all Students students. This will enable you to print from your laptop:
Web pages
Files from G-Suite (Google Drive, Google Docs, etc.)
Files that can be dragged and opened in the URL bar in Chrome (e.g: images)
Follow the instructions below.
By default, print jobs are sent to the black & white printer queue (STAU-XEROX-LIB). If you wish to print in colour, change the printer queue to the colour option (STAU-LIB-PRC) when you send it.
The cost for colour is $1.00 per page, so choose carefully. You can break up your print job when you send it, so that only select pages are sent to the colour printer queue. However, once a job is sent, you can't break it up.
Black and white photocopying is available in the library. Black and white photocopies cost $0.10 per page. Double-sided counts as two pages.
The library Photocopier can scan to paper, a USB stick, or to an email address. You must have funds loaded into the photocopier in order to copy to paper, but there's no charge for electronic scanning.
The library also has hi-res scanners connected to several computers in the lab.
