The e-library has resources for our students who have an IEP. Important note:
Pearson & Nelson have offered temporary access to their online services so that teachers can access frequently used textbooks. However, they control this platform and can withdrawal access when the pandemic is over. This is very different from the eLibrary because eLibrary books are 100% digital PDF copies of copyrighted material and therefore shareable in a way that the online service is not. Improper use and sharing of these materials break copyright law and would put individual teachers at risk of prosecution under copyright law. They are still only to be accessed for students with perceptual disabilities because in this very specific circumstance copyright law is superseded by human rights code that says that students with perceptual disabilities are entitled to access the curriculum in a way that is meaningful to them.
Contact Mr. Servidio for access for specific students.
Watch this if you have students with IEPs in your class.
