The St. Elizabeth Library Learning Commons (L.L.C.) is a hub for learning and collaborating. It is a space that fosters curiosity, creativity, inquiry, literacy, technological skills, digital discipleship, research and critical thinking skills and pathways. The L.L.C. is a safe space that reflects all learners and staff in the school as well as reflects Gospel Values. The St. Elizabeth LLC is a central, collaborative learning environment that is centered around student achievement. We look forward to engaging with both students and educators in this dynamic space!

Monday to Friday available for Chromebook rental from 8:00am-8:17am

Period 1: Chromebook rental only

Period 2: Open for Chromebook rental, study space, printing, book browsing

Period 3A: Open

Period 3B: Closed for Lunch

Period 3C: Open

Period 4: Open

*Closed after school unless supervision by the Teacher-Librarian or Teacher leading a club/event **Chromebook return daily only until 3:30pm 

Students will enter their student number on the pinpad for the following:

Book Loan Period: 3 weeks

Lost or Damaged Books: Students will pay a damage fee, and/or a late fee, and/or pay for the cost of replacing the book.

Whiteboard Marker Rentals for Library use & studying on whiteboard tables.

Black and White Copying/Printing: $0.20 per copy 

Colour Copying/Printing (ONE side): $1.00 

Technology

Important note: Technology, such as Chromebooks, headphones, and calculators, are available to sign out for the duration of the day only as they are required to be available for distribution the following day. 

To sign out a scientific calculator, we require a personal item to be stored in the library and will be returned once the device is brought back.
