Starting school is a new experience for parents and guardians as well and this can be overwhelming. Every school has a different process and layout when it comes to arrival, parking lots, drop offs etc. We want to ensure the safety of all, please take some time to review our maps and procedures regarding arrival and dismissal times. Pick up and drop off for kindergarten students will be in the gated section next the the Primary Yard (please see map).

Kindergarten students play in a playground that is fenced and next to their classrooms. Students are separated from the rest of the student population (Grade 1 to 8). Students are always supervised and cared for during outdoor play .

Morning drop off in every school is a busy time, here at St. Nicholas we have established a procedure during morning drop to ensure student, staff and family safety. Parents of our Kindergarten students are permitted to enter the playground and drop their child off at the entry gate. There are several staff members on duty to welcome them!
