Grade 10 Service Retreat

"Called to be a People of Justice and Compassion"

Our Grade 10 students, each year, have the opportunity to visit St. Patrick's Parish in Toronto for a day of prayer, reflection, and community building.  This retreat provides a meaningful space to pause and reflect on our shared mission as human beings.  Through guided activities and discussions, led by Ignite Ministry, students engaged with important issues such as homelessness, poverty, and the call to serve others in our community.  

During the Retreat experiences, students have an opportunity to examine their relationship with God, reflect on their journey of faith, as well as be encouraged to build a community of friends and peers rooted in the Christian tradition.  The grade 10 service retreat will focus on prayerful reflection and revolve around an understanding of issues facing our world today.  Students partake in prayer, multimedia presentations, discussions, and an exploration of the downtown core.
