Grade 9 Pathways
The transition from Grade 8 to Grade 9 is an interesting one. Students often spend the summer in varying phases of anticipation: fear, worry, excitement.
The first week of high school can be overwhelming--but also enlightening--as students start to build on the skills and knowledge acquired in Grade 8 and begin to understand their roles as lifelong learners.
English is one of only two courses which all students must take throughout high school and Grade 12 English is a prerequisite for every university and college program, so success begins with choosing the right school and the right English course in Grade 9.
Our SBA English courses create a seamless progression of skills for students to master over time. We also guide students toward their best pathway for future success.
