Intention to Register for Summer School

Summer Learning Options for the 2025 session.

If you intend to take a summer school course prior to the commencement of your next academic year, please do not select that course as part of your day school bundle of courses.

Please indicate your intention to take a summer school course in the Add Comments field in myBlueprint so that your counsellor is aware and we can ensure you have met all of your course prerequisites and diploma requirements.
NOTE: this is only a statement of intention, NOT registration for Summer School. Course options for Summer School will be made available at ce.ycdsb.ca

STEPS:

choose your courses on the Official High School Plan
include an alternate choice on your planner in place of your summer school compulsory course
select Review Course Selections
NOTE: Although your plan will be flagged with an issue, you can provide a comment to explain the reason for the issue. Your guidance counsellor will see this once your plan is submitted.
the comment section will appear on the right side of the Review Courses page. Specify the course code for the course you plan to take in the summer (eg. I intend to take CHC2D1 in summer school).
