French Immersion Course Offerings
Students are evaluated based on their performance across the four main language skills: Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking. • Evaluations throughout the course are balanced to give students the opportunity to excel in all of these areas.

Upon the successful completion of ten credits delivered in the French Immersion Stream, students will receive a Graduation Certificate in Bilingual Studies of French Immersion.
Thematic Continuity in FIF Courses
To complement the specific cultural areas of focus listed above, each course includes an “Intercultural” component requiring the study of materials representative of the diverse global Francophone community. Efforts are continuously being made to enhance existing materials in order to better promote equity, community, representation, compassion, critical thinking, and global citizenship across our program.
