The YHS social work services:

  • utilize 2 licensed school-based mental health counselors/social workers (Jenny Zorn and Shenaugh Tripp).

  • assist in the development of student's personal, emotional and social growth to enable them to best benefit from their educational program.

  • offer support to families in regard to social-emotional challenges that may impact a students ability to access their education.

  • receive referrals directly from the students, teachers, school guidance counselors, and administrators, as well as, from parents/guardians.
