The YHS social work services:
utilize 2 licensed school-based mental health counselors/social workers (Jenny Zorn and Shenaugh Tripp).
assist in the development of student's personal, emotional and social growth to enable them to best benefit from their educational program.
offer support to families in regard to social-emotional challenges that may impact a students ability to access their education.
receive referrals directly from the students, teachers, school guidance counselors, and administrators, as well as, from parents/guardians.
