Cyanotype

Purpose:

To learn about cyanotype and its relevance to the history of photography;
To learn about positive and negative space, as well as organic, natural shapes;
To use principles of art to create a unique design.

While creating the cyanotype, I learned about the different process and how it's very sensitive to light. I also learned that it's a long process to make it. The shapes that I used in this cyanotype were not geometrical shapes, but shapes that I had found outside. What was most interesting about the whole process is how the sunlight can create a photo with a few objects on it.
