Purpose:
To combine typography and morphing by transforming a word into its meaning using creative typography and visual design.
To stretch, distort, connect or reshape the letters so the typography itself visually communicates the idea, action, emotion, or concept of the word.
To use color schemes effectively to enhance the word and meaning.

Reflection
In my design, I broke off parts of the letters R, E, and K. I used brown and green to make them look like trees, and the broken letters represent broken tree branches. I also added cracks throughout the word to represent breaks in the letters; on top of that, the snake and a bird I added reinforce the forest theme.
The most challenging part of this project was coming up with a design that fits the word “Break”. After lots of trial and error, I landed on the tree design, which I think fits perfectly. My first idea was a canyon theme with just cracks, but I didn't feel like that was enough to truly show off the meaning of the word break.
I would want to change how much white space I have in my drawing. If I did this again, I would aim to fill as much space as I could with the word itself, then use my tree design to fill the extra white space left over. The extra white space just shows how much more i could've added to make this drawing as good as possible.
