I have been a middle school teacher for 9 years now! My previous background includes teaching preschool, coaching skiing, and working with youths in Guatemala. Originally a Mainer, I'm so happy to be back teaching in this beautiful state. I am married to another English teacher! I have a son, August, who was born in 2018 and a daughter, Lupine, born 2021. When I'm not teaching or reading you'll find me enjoying the outdoors. In the winter I'll be on the trails at Sugarloaf and in the summer somewhere near the water: on the beach, on my SUP, or on a boat.
