The HMS STEAM lab has 24 VEX IQ robotics kits funded by YEF. The use of the kits requires middle school students to dive deep into the engineering design process as they work in pairs coding robots to move autonomously to accomplish tasks and solve problems. These kits include cutting edge technology that is specifically designed to generate high levels of engagement while encouraging creative solutions and development of STEM skills.
