Welcome to the School Counseling Page for Harrison Middle School
Hi and welcome! My name is Catherine Nein and I am the school counselor for all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students at Harrison Middle School.
What do school counselors do: School counselors provide a variety of comprehensive services for our students and the community. Some of these services include individual counseling, small group counseling, classroom lessons, consultation and collaboration with staff, parents, and the community, crisis intervention, safety planning and reporting, and any necessary referrals to community services. The school counseling program is designed to assist with areas of social, academic, and career development. It is a proactive and collaborative program that supports all students in a variety of ways.
Please feel free to reach out to me at any time with questions or concerns you may have. I am very excited to work with both you and your child this year.
