*Use this list of ten questions to have students do an essential question sort. Which questions allow for more thought and discussion, or even debate? Which ones can be answers with minimal research or discussion?
Journal/Learning Log: Students will keep a Blog or website weekly at the end of 10% Time
Focus Group: Students will reflect on their process in support groups (which may stay the same over the 20 weeks)
Whole-class Discussion Fishbowl: These will be used for problem solving or idea generation opportunities
Discussion: Daily discussions with peers about their process
Tadpole Tank: At least one time throughout the process students will create a pitch about their project idea to peers and at least one adult during a smaller version of “Shark Tank”
Survey/Forms: To get a gauge of where they are as far as progress towards their goal, students complete surveys/Google Forms along the way.
