Test Tiles

"Two of the most informative projects we did during this semester in my opinion were the glaze test tiles and the pinch pots. First of all, the glaze test tiles taught me precision and patience. This is because I realized that in order to produce a product I could be proud of, I had to take my time and not rush my work. When I tried to go quickly, my work ended up looking sloppy and I had to re-do one of my test tiles. Patience goes a long way but precision is what makes your product come out the way you want it. You can be as patient as you want but if you aren’t precise with your measurements and glaze application, the test tiles won’t come out well." -ML s20
