This page contains the terms & conditions for Yard Signs By Jen. Please read these terms & conditions carefully before ordering your Yard Signs By Jen sign rental. By ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions.
PAYMENT. Full payment is due at time of booking and must clear 24 hours prior to delivery date/time. Payment information via our website is transmitted over secure SSL encryption and is not stored unless requested.
CANCELLATION. If you cancel your order more than 24 hours prior to the day of delivery, we reserve the right to refund 1⁄2 of your payment or you have the option to reschedule for the full value paid. Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled delivery will not receive a refund.
GREETING SET-UP/TAKE-DOWN. The greeting rental will be delivered the night before your event date unless other arrangements have been made. All Yard Signs By Jen greeting rentals are typically delivered and set up in the evening and removed the following evening. All prices include delivery, set up and removal of the yard sign rental.
Once installed, display will remain for up to 24-hours without incurring a fee for an additional day ($50/per day). Additional day requests are subject to availability and will not be available during certain peak times (graduation season, etc.).
All Yard Signs By Jen displays are meant to be pleasant surprises. Someone at the recipient’s home must be notified that they will be receiving the greeting within 24 hours of delivery so they can make arrangements, including turning off their sprinkler and exterior cameras/alarm systems and/or pause of yard services for the duration of the sign display rental.
Please note the following conditions:
If we cannot gain access to your home (ex: gate code not provided), we will attempt to contact you. However, if no answer or immediate response you will forfeit your payment and time slot. No refunds or credits will be provided.
If you have not adequately prepared your yard for the installation (thoroughly watering, mowing, picking up animal waste, trash, etc.), YOU AUTOMATICALLY FORFEIT YOUR PAYMENT AND THE DISPLAY RENTAL WILL BE CANCELLED. No refunds. No exceptions.
RUSH ORDERS. We always do our best to accommodate our customers. Rush (within 48 hours of setup) and same day orders will be accommodated, provided the following conditions are met:
• Based on available inventory
• Rush fee ($50) will apply
• Orders placed within 48 hours of requested event day are not guaranteed
INCLEMENT WEATHER. If unsafe weather conditions are present (lightning, tornado, large hail, extreme wind or other hazardous weather conditions that prevent safe set-up and/or take-down), we will not be able to deliver your Yard Signs By Jen display rental. In the event of prohibitive or inclement weather, if we are unable to reschedule the greeting at a mutually acceptable time, a full refund will be honored.
REFUND POLICY. We will not refund payment if homeowner requests greeting rental to be removed. We will not refund payment for errors that occur on order submission*. Please see other sections for additional refund information.
DAMAGES. All signs, graphics, stakes, etc. remain the exclusive property of Yard Signs By Jen. Damage, removal and/or destruction is prohibited. Should any damage occur, you are responsible for the replacement cost of the graphic, letter and/or stake at full replacement value.
Violation of any of the following will result in a minimum $250 damage charge and placement on the DO NOT RENT list:
Do not move or remove any component of the sign for any reason once installed. If you need it removed early, please contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Do not mow or weed-eat around signs, as it will damage them. If you have a lawn crew coming, arrangements must be made for them to come prior to installation or after removal.
Do not allow children or adults to play on or around the yard sign display. Our signs are not designed to safely support a child or adult leaning on them and contain sharp edges, metal stakes and other dangerous elements.
Do not allow pets around the display.
Do not throw away, damage/scratch, bend or vandalize the signs in any way.
Do not attach balloons or anything else to the display. If you have additional personal items you would like to incorporate, please let us know, and we will try to help.
RIGHT OF REFUSAL. Yard Signs By Jen reserves the right to decline any order, especially those that are controversial, lewd, disrespectful or do not fit the celebratory nature of our business.
Yard Signs By Jen and all representatives are not responsible or liable for any injury or damage to any person or personal/private property during the transportation, set-up, removal or display of any rental.
*Address errors on order submission will require a minimum $60 reset fee to move sign to the correct location. Other errors (such as incorrect spelling or age) that require a correction may incur a travel charge of $30+, dependent upon sign location.*
