Smart Lighting

Multiple rooms have smart lighting, controlled via Google Home.  You'll notice covers over the applicable light switches.  We'd ask you refrain from utilizing those (backup/emergency only).  Google Hub devices listen for commands, which must be preceded by "Hey Google..."

Suggested commands:

• "Power Down" - Turns off smart lighting and TVs (for when leaving or retiring at night)

• "Turn on/off the Kitchen Light"

• "Turn on/off the Dining Room Light"

• "Turn on/off the Living Room Light"

  • Suggested Color: Blue

  • Lighting Suggestion "Turn the Living Room light blue" & "Turn off the Living Room lamp"

• "Turn the [Room Name] light [color]"

  • Suggested Colors:  White, Blue, Candlelight

• "Turn the [Room Name] light [%]" (brightness)

  • Dining Room Suggestion:  Candlelight, 30%

• "Turn the Porch String Light On" (it's not recommend to change the light color or brightness)

Smart TV | Streaming | AirPlay

The televisions and smart devices are configured for our personal accounts.  Please select OCMD if applicable when utilizing a service pre-installed service.  You may Broadcast/AirPlay to these devices if you wish to utilize your personal streaming services. 

• YouTube - Please leverage a Guest account when utilizing YouTube, as this streaming services is very restrictive with concurrent streams.
