WHAT IS XU CRYPTO ON CAMPUS?
XU Crypto on campus is an ongoing initiative to gauge the attitude of faculty and students towards cryptocurrency and give them opportunities to engage in some fundamental activities using our own token. Participants will be rewarded with XUCC ("XU Crypto on Campus") tokens. These tokens can then either be exchanged at sanctioned events or otherwise on campus to acquire rewards like tacos from a taco truck or snowballs on the quad and they can also be deposited in exchange for tickets in a prize pool. Prizes will be awarded every 7 days.

Here are a few ways to earn tokens. Ask your professors to take part in the project and we will give them tokens to distribute in your classes.

Take the survey. Every participant in the survey gets 1000 XUCC tokens and the first 200 will receive USDC to deposit in a Pooltogether Prize Pool with chances to win extra cryptocurrency.

In order to see your tokens or spend your tokens you need to set up a digital wallet in METAMASK. It's not complicated but it takes a few minutes. It will require that you have some XUCC tokens and some xDai tokens to pay for transactions. Luckily we give them to you. Details are in the Quickstart Guide.

You can come to the 'XU Crypto Exchange' located on the second floor of Xavier South and exchange tokens for items or a spin on our prize wheel. We will update the location and time of our giveaways and prize wheel via twitter.
