Students listened and learned Tàpies' biography.
In pairs, they had to complete a sentence from the biography and draw what the sentence says.
After that, the teachers created a collaborative biography book of Tàpies.
Once the students have analyzed some of Tàpies' paintings and found out which are the most characteristic elements (letters, numbers, crosses, parts of the body...), students created in small groups their own painting based on Tàpies.
In groups, students design and create a sculpture based on Tàpies.
They talk about elements that the sculpture may have and the materials they will need.
After designing and creating an sculpture based on Tàpies, students prepared an oral presentation of their artwork following a template provided. The teacher recorded them once the presentations were revised and rehearsed.
All the final products are displayed in an exhibition in the hall of the school. Each sculpture has a QR code that links with the videos recorded.
In small groups, the students designed a flyer using an online tool (Canva).
These flyers are hanged up in different parts of the school and presented to different classes, inviting the whole community to the exhibition.
The students are so proud of their final products and share their experiences with parents, siblings and colleagues.
