We chose coding and robotics for two reasons: we thought it was important the motivation in our students; and we also thought our school had a lack in ICT. We wanted through it to improve our students logical thinking. Although our children use all kind of gadgets to play, it is important for them to know how these gadgets work and to create their own programmes or games.
During this year we have found our children are quite motivated but we need to go a step forward, we want them to be communicative competent, so they need more language practice.
We need to find a way to promote collaborative work as much as possible.
The challenge we have in mind for next year is to introduce in 6th grade Scratch.
