My name's Maria Jose Rincon, I am an English teacher in Josep Guinovart School located in Castelldefels.
Last year we introduced CLIL in our school, and during this year we have been part of the GEP programme. We have attended to different sessions and we have been asked to do three tasks of two hours of class about the topic we do at school.
The content of my sessions is coding and robotics introduction addressed to students of 4th and 6th level. We work in this introduction with Beebots and Bluebot App, and with Scratch Jr, but our aim is to introduce Scratch in 6th grade as soon as possible. Although the concepts and the tools are the same, the cognitive level and the abstraction capacity is different so the activities are different, too.
In this site I explain a little bit about the school, present a pdf with the information of the three tasks, videos and photos with the interaction teacher-student and student-student, and finally a short reflection about this year.
