Follow the steps and enjoy the process! But be careful and use the protecting equipment.
Firstly we have to choose and take the materials and the tools needed for constructing concrete turrets.
It’s important to protect yourselves because of the aggressiveness of concrete. Put on latex or other material gloves and security glasses.
The first step is mixing the concrete: pour powder concrete in an appropriate bucket, add the appropriate amount of water, not too much of it, and mix it, using a trowel, until achieving a homogeneous consistency.
If after doing that, you don’t get the pasty consistency required, you can add concrete or water, otherwise.
Then, it’s time to choose the design of our concrete turret. In order to recycle daily materials, we can use them as a template for our turrets. These materials could be from yogurt containers to egg boxes, or any other recyclable materials you want.
Having chosen them, you should pour the concrete into the recipient up to half and introduce, in the middle of it, a bottle of water or some other materials which enables us to make a hole, where the soil is going to be thrown.
Finally, you should wait until the concrete becomes dry. After that, we can remove the turret from the template and start our planting work.
